The Irwin 52 is the most successful and popular cruising yacht of her size. Each cabin has a separate head with lockers and drawers. Large V-berth is forward . Moving aft on the port side is second guest stateroom with a large double berth and in suite head w/shower. Across to starboard is the second guest head and shower. The spacious salon offers L-shaped settee on port side and 6ft.6" settee on starboard with T.V., stereo and built in bar. One step down to large galley with double frig. and separate large freezer, microwave/convection oven, Force 10 3-burner stove w/oven. Aft to the owner's stateroom with centerline queen berth and insuite head with separate shower stall. Port side fourth quarter cabin has been converted to workshop/laundry room with washer/dryer, trash compactor, tools and spare parts. Forward of this cabin is Nav. station on port side of main salon.

ON DECK:
Mast guard rails, separate below deck propane locker for 2-20lb. aluminum tanks, aft of cockpit mounted Switlik life raft w/Sunbrella cover, further aft lazarette capable of storing all dive, snorkel & cruising gear. Stainless steel fishing rod holder mounted on rail.

GROUND TACKLE:
Double chain locker forward. One with 200 ft. 3/8" BBB galvanized chain backed by 200 ft. ¾" nylon rode. Second compartment 100 ft. of 3/8" BBB galvanized chain backed by 300 ft. ¾" nylon rode.
Large capacity 12 volt Galleymaid windlass with 3/8" gypsy and separate line drum. Two 55 lb. Delta anchors on double bow rollers "at the ready".
One 44 lb. Danforth high tensile with 50 ft. of chain and 300 ft. of 5/8" nylon line. Dinghy anchor with chain and line.
44 lb Delta with 300 feet 5/8 line on its own stern rail mount.

 

GALLEY:
Very large and well-appointed galley suitable for gourmet meals with loads of counter space, storage and super large double capacity refrigerator and separate freezer. Wonderful for cruisers that enjoy eating well. New 1/2 hp compressor 2005.

• Force 10 stove with 3 burners and thermostatically controlled oven with 2-20lb. Aluminum propane tanks in separate vented compartment.

UTILITY WORKSHOP:
This quarter cabin is now converted to workshop/utility laundry room. It originally had up and down berths, which could be easily converted back to its original form.

ELECTRONICS:
Hart 2500 Inverter/charger
125 amp charger with 5000 w. inverter capacity "R" three stage voltage regulator, which regulates the 120 V charging from the generator or the shore power and also regulates the charging capacity of the main engine high output alternator.
12V battery bank (Large capacity)
• 4- 8D 12V 255 Amp gel batteries
• 2- 4D 12V 130 Amp gel batteries, which operate windlass and bow thruster located forward and connected together with super large gauge tined cable to avoid any voltage drops.
Total house battery bank system of 1280 Amps at 12V.
 

• 1 100 Amp gel start battery for generator (completely isolated from system).
All batteries new in 2003.

New 2005 24 mile Raymarine 4kva mizzen mount radar with multi-function Raymarine radar/chart plotter/info daylight viewable C-series in cockpit.
4 GPS units 2 Foruno built-ins, 1 in Nav station,1 in Cockpit, 2 portable handheld Garmins which operate independently from their own battery source or plug into cockpit or Nav station 12V. GPS units can be linked to electronic charting through an existing NIMH terminal. Electronic charts for Caribbean available upon request and paper charts for most of the Caribbean.
Binoculars: Fujinon Waterproof high quality.
Auto Pilot: New 2005 Autohelm 7000  with gyro assist w/ rotary drive repeaters at Nav station and cockpit
Compass: Danforth 12" magnetic compass at binnacle cockpit plus electronic compass
Raymarine windspeed and depth instruments: new 2005 in cockpit with repeater at Nav station.
Radios: Icom 710 SSB w/130 auto tuner email ready complete w/Pactor III email modem.
2 Standard Horizon VHF units, one in Nav station, antenna located on main mast, second located in cockpit, antenna on mizzen mast. One hand held VHF w/charger.
